libvo - Multi platform video output library

About libvo

libvo is a Video Output library developed to make video output easier. It already supports many video output targets like X11 (software, hardware accelerated), SDL and GGI.
Developers can easily write their own libvo plugin and can immeadiately use their plugin in all programs supporting libvo! Read on if you're interested in helping us with improving libvo and adding more video output targets. We'd appreciate any help and are always on the search for skilled developers helping with libvo.
It is very easy to use libvo for video output in your project - no need to fight with video system initialisation and optimizing frame blitting - it's all done in libvo!

Projects using libvo

libvo is currntly used by two other LiViD projects: mpeg2dec and oms.
If you want to use libvo for your project too, I'd be happy to add it to this list.

API Documentation, HOWTO

The code is written in C and Documentation is beeing generated on an automatic basis with Doxygen. You'll probably need to adopt your C coding style a bit for Doxygen, if you want to contribute.

It would be very cool if you had time to help us with writing a How-To describing how to use libvo in other projects or document your experience in writing a new libvo output plugin.
