There is a site called LinuxTV.org that has a driver for the LSI
Chipset. I don't know if you have seen this or not. The driver is sort
of complete, as it does not support Zoomed video yet. I have an IBM
thinkpad 600E with a Margi DVD-to-go card and DVD drive. I am running
Kernel 2.4.1 and used the OMS release. It works, but only at about 12
frames/sec. I would be happy to help in any wany I can (testing and
documenting, unfortunately, I quit programing about 10 years ago, and am
very rusty.)
