region locking

Why yes, there are people running region-locked players, because when
I go to somewhere like regiontest.datalabs.com,
 (a) it doesn't list my DVD hardware
 (b) the applicable listing it does have [I know who the original
     manufacturer of the DVD drive] says "Untested"
 (c) most, if not all, of the patches are windows-based, and hey,
     lookee. I'm running Linux.

Waider. So I'm stuck in Region 2 for now, thanks.
